Zone 8b. Bermuda seeding

A 6x6 patch of my turf did not come back. Currently Poa is filling it but it’s gettin hot. I have some Bermuda seed I’m going to put down with peat moss.

Just wondering if any of you fine fellows have any guidance for what to do to prepare the soil? Should I scrape it prior, pull plugs, spray it?

I just want the best results I hate seed
