Should I stay with Enterpise longer or look for a new sales job?

I’m currently a Management Trainee at Enterprise and I’m coming up on my 7th month. My long term goal is to move into tech sales in an SDR or BDR role.

I’ve been performing pretty well. I’ve been in the top 50 percent of the matrix for the last 3 months.

My question is whether it’s worth staying the full year to make my resume look cleaner, or if it’s fine to start applying for SDR roles now around the 7 to 9 month mark.

My dad thinks staying a full year would look better, but I’ve also heard Enterprise is more of a stepping stone role.

Curious what people in sales or tech sales think. Would leaving around 8 or 9 months hurt my chances, or does it not really matter?
