Untucked button up silhouette when viewed in side profile.
When a casual untucked button up is viewed in side profile, the hem will sometimes tent away from the hips a little bit. This can create a contrast where the wider shape of the shirt’s hem meets the narrower shape of the trouser’s top block.
This photo illustrates the issue as does this photo to a lesser extent.
Does thís silhouette bother you guys? Is there a way to style it so it works? Do you either buy shirts or tailor your shirts to be more narrow from the waist to the hips so it falls more like this photo?
