Hydrangeas dying???

I got these about two months ago, and they've been doing fine until recently. I started watering them a bit more since it got hotter, but other than that nothing has changed. They used to be vibrant pink and now they're browning and dry. It's pretty hot and humid where I am, but not so hot that I would think it would scorch them. They get morning sun and shade in the afternoon. I'm not a pro, so any insight on what may be going on?
