I thought I needed motivation to code
Like…that sudden burst of energy where you wake up at 5AM, open your laptop, and become a different person.
Yeah…that never came.
Most days? I don’t feel like doing anything.
Not coding. Not learning. Not even opening Vs code or even Jupyter.
So for a long time, I waited.
Waited to “feel ready.”
Waited to “feel motivated.”
And because of that?
I stayed stuck......................
—
Then I noticed something weird. The days I actually made progress…
weren’t the days I felt motivated. They were the days I just…started.
No energy. No hype.
Just opened my laptop and did something small.
Watched 10 minutes of a tutorial. Ran code I didn’t fully understand.
Copied…pasted…broke things…fixed them (somehow). Nothing impressive. But it counted.
That’s when it clicked:
Motivation doesn’t come first.
Action does. You don’t feel your way into progress… You work your way into it.
—
So if you’re out here waiting to feel ready…
you might be waiting forever.
Start tired.
Start confused.
Start anyway.
That’s how people actually get good.

If you're learning anything in tech like this too…
you’re not lazy. You’re just human. Keep going.
