Sony a6400 or fujifilm?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been looking into getting my first proper camera and I came across a Sony A6400 with a kit lens for around €700. From what I’ve seen, that seems like a really good deal.
My main interest is sports photography, but I’d also like to shoot other things like nature, cities, and general travel photography. From my research, the A6400 seems like a strong option, especially because of its autofocus and burst shooting.
At the same time, I’m really drawn to Fujifilm cameras, mainly because of their film simulations (the presets). I love the look they produce straight out of camera. I’ve tried to find a Fujifilm camera with similar specs to the A6400 in the same price range, but I’m struggling to find a good equivalent.
I also noticed that Sony has something called “Creative Styles” (and Picture Profiles), which seem somewhat similar to Fuji’s film simulations. But I’m not sure how comparable they really are in practice.
So I have a few questions:
- How do Sony Creative Styles compare to Fujifilm film simulations? Are they anywhere near as good?
- Would it be better to go for Fujifilm if I really care about colors and presets?
and last are there any fujfilm camera's you can suggest that are better or almost the same.
Any advice or experiences would be really appreciated!
Thanks :)
