Switched from 1 DDR5 Stick to 2 and now i got worse performance?
Hey,
i did build my pc 5 month ago on a single ddr5 35 gb Kingston Fury 6000 Cl30 Stick.
Today a Lexar ares ddr5 6000 Cl26 2x16 kit arrived that i ordered on amazon early november and totaly forgot about.
I was excited so i did a couple of benchmarks with the single stick and now with the new sticks just to realize that now performance is basicly the same 2-4 Fps less in my usual games and way lower 1%lows sometimes i encounter minor hitches now that i didnt before. To be fair i play in 4k so i did not expect crazy differences but atleast not worse. Is this just that it doesnt rly matter anymore with ddr5 or did i do something wrong?:D
Both setups had Expo enabled and running at their advertised speed. Temperatures where rougly the same in HW info while running the benchmarks and my usual games.
i run a 9800x3d
5080
asus rog strix b850-f wifi
and a samsung 990 pro
any ideas or should i just call this margin of error in my benchmarks?
