40 [F] Los Angeles: Weirdo seeks weirdo for obscure cinema, aimless drives, plant identification, and cat-petting

I'm a newly 40 nightly flosser and library patron seeking a companion for the good stuff, the bad stuff, and the meh stuff. No kids of my own, but don't mind if you've got 'em.

LA is home and probably will be until I lose my patience for it, so locals preferred. I am, however, a hopeless romantic, so distance considered for the right person.

In addition to my subject line, I do a lot of baking, a moderate amount of outdoor activities (camping and hiking, although I oddly hate backpacking), and maybe more international travel than the average American. However, I don't think there's any correlation between passport stamps and being an interesting or good person.

Politically leftist and would prefer the same; please don't be apathetic, at the very least.

Seeking an age-appropriate man who knows that good relationships are built piece by piece, secret by secret, experience by experience. Being hilarious helps too.

Full disclosure: I am a "BBW" (not my favorite acronym but there it is). I've ridden on the backs of motorbikes in Hanoi, climbed the Pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan, and perched on barstools in Copenhagen. My body has served me well and I'd like to be loved as I am right now, not with the hope that I may be thin one day. I, of course, think you deserve the same.
