Seemingly banned after changing password on locked account. Please, any insight is appreciated.

*This account is not the one that was banned, this is my normal account*

About two hours ago I received a message in my notifications inbox about my account being locked. They said they detected something and I needed to change my password.

“Hi [my username],

At Reddit, we’re always watching out for your privacy, safety, and security. Recently, after detecting some technical irregularities on your account.”

I never received an email about it nor did the link in that notification work the first time. I eventually changed my password and thought all was well.

After looking at my profile, EVERYTHING was gone. I could still see my post and comments but my picture, header and bio were all gone, all of my posts were “Removed by reddit filters” and Insights are unavailable.

I figured it was a bug after the account being locked and decided to post in the shadowbanned reddit to see if I was. I was able to post but when I looked online with “reddit.com/user/myusername” it said “This Account Has Been Banned.” I tried switching to this personal account to search the affected username and can’t find anything, it doesn’t even appear in the “Users” tab.

I have no idea what I did wrong. I post NSFW media but all of myself and I am well overage (25) and I don’t spam comments, dm’s or anything. The only thing I can think of was me posting to 3 different subreddits in a short timeframe earlier this morning before I got locked but that’s normal for me, I’ve posted one after the other many times before with no issues.

On top of that, there is no email about me being banned/suspended nor is there a red notification anywhere in the app saying I’ve been banned or anything. I’ve tried posting again to see if that triggers anything but nope, the post goes through but doesn’t show on the subs, only on my profile.

I’ve submitted an appeal through the “Spam, Inauthentic behavior, ban evasion” form and have read that there is a separate one for “My account has been wrongly suspended” but that appeal form does not exist and said it was not the correct place to submit it then provided a link to the only form I was able to find to fill out, that being the spam one.

I have yet to receive ANY emails from reddit about my account status and don’t know what to do. Should I just wait and see? Is it a lost cause and should I just delete the account? I genuinely don’t understand. (The cherry on top is this happens whilst twitter is going through its own suspension frenzy and it makes this that much more annoying)
