[PC][released before 2016] A point and click game from my childhood

Platform(s): PC

Genre: First person (somewhat), and point & click hidden objects. Somewhat, because you could only see the cursor, but you played a male(?) protagonist.

Estimated year of release: Before 2016

Graphics/art style: Gloomy, dark, painting like

Notable characters: A female(?) villain, who could control the bugs in the game, and at the end of the game you could see how she looked like, but during the game she always lurked.

Notable gameplay mechanics: Point & Click, Small logical puzzles, like symbols, and password solving,

Other details: There was a place, that looked kinda like a museum, where there were bugs preparated, and maybe there was a prison cell part, but I'm not sure about that.
