Apartment amenities for non residents

I’m going to sound like a Karen I know, and I’m sorry. It’s such a huge pet peeve of mine. If this is an unbearable read I apologize. I have a complaint to vent about and see if it’s valid, be honest. We live in an apartment complex that is on the property of a very rich and nice neighborhood. Gated community with golf courses, spas, pickleball, all sorts of shit. The apartment people can’t use it. We are gated off from the whole neighborhood and all its amenities, which is fine by me, the apartments are like 1500 a month minimum and the houses back there are in the millions. I get why we can’t use them. BUT tell me why the neighborhood people can come drive their golf carts over here and use our pickleball courts and hog the whole thing and nobody says a single thing about it. How is that fair? Our apartments are not gated neither are our amenities, the apartment building just has a keypad but the dog park and pickleball is open. It just rubs me the wrong way you know? What if someone wanted to play pickleball that actually lives here but can’t because some old farts rolled up in a golf cart and hogged them.

I realized after writing this people will probably ask “how do you know it’s the neighborhood residents and not someone else” well for starters, our community is on the side of the highway, nothing for a good mile anywhere near us. No houses, no gas, nothing. Secondly, I can see them from my building driving from the gate (in a golf cart, who has a golf cart in an apartment off the side of the highway?) all the way to the pickleball courts, dog park, pool, and trash compactor. Our trash compactor is a MESS too. Probably wouldn’t be as bad if half that neighborhood wasn’t illegally dumping in it
