Guide to finding all unique Grey Dyes

Every one of these dyes is purchased from a vendor that only appears after a quest or liberating a region. Some of them require completing pretty much every other faction quest in the region except for bounties, politics and requests. Some have to be found manually, or both.

Black Dye - Aris, Muiquun, Wagon fence quest after liberating the town

Pure White Dye - Wilmer, Timberton, liberate Marni’s drilling rig

Bright Grey Dye - Solan, Saltroad Camp, liberate the camp

Dark Grey Dye - Odeck, after beating the Forgotten General, complete nearly every other faction quest in the region and then travel to the General’s tomb northwest of Pailune. Probably the hardest fight in the game so come prepared.

Medium Grey Dye - Fenton, House of Healing, after returning with Yann

Shadow Grey Dye - Colby, Senia, after liberating the town and returning the relic, and Oliver, Howling Hills Camp (These both have the same dye but I couldn’t find a 10th grey dye vendor other than this, so I assume they’re different dyes with the same name. Correct me if I’m wrong.)

Deep Grey Dye- Ronan, Hernand training grounds (Beggars Alliance)

Silver Grey Dye - Norden, Kharonso (Troll Alliance), comes after Beggars Alliance and House Grace quests

Cloud Grey Dye - Olive, Tariv (Tariv Sorcerors), unknown at what point the Light of Tariv quest becomes available but I had finished every other faction quest in Demeniss before I found out you need to visit Furlington Farm to pick up the quest. It doesn’t show up in your journal automatically.
