Festavia 21m+ exstension 14m

Hi!

Long time Lifx user here and since it's turning to be a US only brand, I'm jumping ship and joining Hue.

Today I installed my first Hue product, the Festavia bulbs. I've got 21m and the 14m extension. But one thing surprises me. They appear as two separate lights in the app. Which means that if I want to set them to a different color, I have to set both lights to red separately, each time

This seems so counterintuitive to me that I don't really believe this. But I cannot find any documentation online about this. The Google AI tells me I have to just connect them and Hue recognizes it's now extended and should treat it as one light, but that doesn't happen.

Am I stuck with just two separate stringlights that I have to control separately each time if I do not want to use the scenes and want to pick a color myself?
