My boyfriend left for navy bootcamp today

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost three years and he left for bootcamp today. I’m worried and scared about so many things and I need advice from people who have already gone through this. What did you do to cope? Does it get easier?

This is the first time where we’re going to be apart for a while. We usually see each other almost everyday, but we call and text each other everyday. I don’t know how I’m going to deal with talking to him everyday to now only being able to contact each other through letters for 2 months. I’m scared how this is going to affect our relationship.

I feel stuck and anxious. Any advice or suggestions would really help.
