29M Thoughts on the new Pokemon Champions game??? 🤔

The What/Why:

I am in a phase of life where I find myself devoid of any close friendships. I never had trouble making friends but the one thing I really struggle with is making deeper connections with people. I have had a few friends like that when I was much younger but as an adult most of my friendships are superficial. My goal is to find someone who's values and outlook on life are similar to mine, especially regarding being empathetic, nurturing, and non-judgmental. To facilitate a feeling of safety so we can be our true authentic selves around each other.

Ideally I am looking for someone who enjoys hanging out often over VC. I really love hanging out with people and watching stuff and just giving our takes. I hope to eventually be able to open up to each other, check in on each other, and other warm friendly stuff like that.

About me:

I would describe as very easy going. I can sometimes come across as overly formal in texts but I am the complete opposite! I am very silly and goofy but I can be serious when the situation demands it. I love to laugh, I am very animated, and can be a little talkative at times.

I am not a perfect person but here are the underlying values that guide the type of person I try to be on a daily basis:

• Not judging others while still not tolerating harmful behaviour.
• Not using the missteps of others as a way to make myself feel better.
• Being kind towards others and mindful of their feelings and emotions.
• Being as polite and as considerate as possible.
• Being very inclusive and not making people feel left out.
• Being nurturing and supportive of people and their dreams.
• Self-reflecting and trying to be a better person.
• Communicating feelings with kindness.

Hobbies/Interests:

• Deep Dives: I am a very curious person by nature. I love looking into things from politics and history to pop culture and celebrity gossip. I have so much useless knowledge but I love being in the know.
• Gaming: I really enjoy gaming but I am very casual. I love the Pokemon games. Some of my other favourite games include Skyrim, Shovel Knight, Shadow of War, Megaman Battle Network, Dark Souls, and Monster Hunter.
• Music: I love exploring new artists and making playlists. My favourite genre is hip-hop because it puts me into this flow state where I feel alive and start dancing and moving or vibing to the lyrics. It's such a great genre and I can speak it's praises all day.
• Media: I am a big consumer of media of all types. Currently watching Before the 90 Days but I also love movies, shows, and anime but I don't enjoy watching stuff alone and usually watch with a friend. My favourite show is the Sopranos, my favourite movie is The Big Lebowski, and my favourite anime is Cowboy Bebop.

About you:
