Do we know what's happening with broadcasts this year?
With the demise of Main Street Sports, which runs all the FanDuel (formerly Bally's, formerly Fox Sports, and in our case formerly MSC) regional sports networks, it looks like the Lynx don't have a regular TV home for the season. Frustratingly, most of the articles on the topic (like this one from ESPN) focus entirely on the NBA and NHL teams. It may be that the Lynx are the only team in the W that is affected, but I am not sure about other teams' local TV deals. Only one source I found, the Sports Business Journal article by Tom Friend, acknowledged and called out the Lynx as being one of the teams affected by the shutdown.
Has anyone heard anything about how this will affect blackouts, or if perhaps they are planning a local streaming package? If they offered something beyond League Pass, like the Twins have with Twins.tv, I would probably jump on it.
