What used (‘22-25) 7 seater SUV should I buy

Family of 4. 2 kids in car seats. 75lb dog.I know. I’ve read all the posts. it’s not the car you want, it’s the car you need, and the answer is a Toyota sienna.

But the husband never fails to find a sketchy dirt road to drive down even on the most seemingly mundane of family outings and we end up on forest service roads and in the snow a decent amount.

“Toyota Sienna Woodland Edition” the redditors cry. Thats a luxury car fam and we don’t got the budget.

Budget 30-40k. Need AWD. We drive our cars into the ground and want reliability and don’t care about resale value. Would be nice if fuel economy isn’t total trash (that’s what keeps getting me hung up on Honda pilot). Toyota GH feels like an overpriced boat. CX90 is a little small in the back, wonder about reliability but I like the price point. Every Subaru I see on the road has the plastic trim falling off. Volvo XC90 high maintenance costs.
