Powertrain vs. EV Battery Warranty

It is well known that the 10 year/100k mile warranty does not transfer from the original owner. However, there is also a battery warranty, and that warranty seems to cover all of the components of the EV powertrain. This would seem as though for a Genesis EV, the powertrain warranty is a moo point; it's like a cow's opinion - it doesn't matter. It's moo. What am I missing?

ELECTRIC VEHICLE SYSTEM High Voltage Battery, along with the following Electric Vehicle -Specific components that are directly attached to or integral to operation of the High Voltage Battery; Battery Management System; Blower Assembly; Electronic Air Compressor; Power Relay Assembly; Traction Motor including housing case; OBC; Electric Power Control unit.
