Think about how resilient you are.
I'm serious.
So many of us often settle into this view of ourselves that we can't get anything right, that we're barely scraping by, that everything is spiraling around us. And that might be true sometimes. But we're so harsh on ourselves, and we tend to overemphasize every failure.
But I want you to think about how much resilience it takes to keep trying, even with the challenges we have.
Every day, there are posts in here from people who are trying their absolute best. They're taking the time to seek advice and guidance. They're implementing new strategies, overcoming fears, facing their weaknesses, taking accountability for their fuckups, and striving to do better.
Seriously... do you know how strong you are? ADHD isn't a gift or a super power, and it can often feel like a curse... but it doesn't define you. It sucks that we have to be resilient and put in so much more effort than it seems others do. But that strength and resolve is something ot be proud of, nonetheless.
