Pass Plus scheme
Hi there, I am a 19 year-old girl currently doing driving lessons. I have passed my theory and have a driving test booked. Unfortunately I have to take a 2 month break as I am going travelling soon, then I will have some more lessons to refresh/ get ready for my test once I am back in the UK.
Once I come back I will have no savings since they are for travelling and I will start work again to pay for a car. I know insurance is sky high for people my age and I was wondering if the Pass Plus scheme would be beneficial to reduce costs for this. The scheme costs £250 in my area. Obviously I would do it primarily for extra practice- especially on the motorway session- but I was wondering is it worth either doing the PP scheme or just paying my current instructor for a motorway lesson instead. For those who did the Pass Plus scheme, did you think it was worth it? Did it lower your insurance?
Sorry for the yap: I wanted to contextualise my situation🤣
