False KA band

Been using the max 3 for a couple months, never had any issues with false KA bands only legit. Then I was given the max 4 as a gift now anytime I drive on my highway to go back-and-forth from work or if I’m in town, I will get one bar of a KA band and then it will go away typically it’s a 34.7 is a legit signal but it’s getting quite annoying and I’m almost tempted just to switch back to the max 3 the app says the detector is up-to-date Firmware Version V 14.050. Any ideas?

Completely understand these detectors are shit and have many issues according to vortex so no need to come at me with that.
