Which characters doesnt cry in the corner AND are not rushdowns ?

Ive played mostly Faust last season (love his style) and a bit of Dizzy (love her animations) and if I really like them, I would like to have a break from poor defensive options. Its surely a skill issue (low gold) but I spent so much time crying in the corner without other solution than 5P 5P 5P into nothing.

Which characters are a little bit easier to defend with, specially once against the wall ? I just dont want to play a pure rushdown like Elphet or Giovanna, and I love cool animations
