Is the AI takeover of jobs a systemic plan to keep us chained in it?
Deeply thinking about an idea that brought up in my mind. While I was taking a dookie the idea of us being told to pay for an education, wasting lots of years and potentially drowning in debt afterwards for these majors that are shown to provide a good life afterwards based on statistics. But, the AI takeover has lost them their jobs, this breaks the routine we all follow as humans because we need education then we get our jobs and through that we provide for ourselves, our families but before that we provide the governments with our money which is the "taxes". But if we are contributing to this system that is neglecting our rights and our so called dream(I live in America). We were reinforced since birth that we should be educated and self sufficient through education and landing a good job for a good life but if a robot takes that over how are we supposed to make that happen.
I have seen so many examples, a popular one with Computer science where people are laid off due to AI being more efficient and they're hard work and debt as well as the sacrifice through years of education payed off for nothing in the end. Basically, forcing them into a life thats lower class. Would this possibly be a government solution for keeping more in the lower class to have a good amount of laborers for the work thats needed. Is the system chaining us down? By replacing a high wage job with AI to have more laborers in the field?
I kinda just thought about this so, I apologize if most doesn't make sense I was trying hard to remember what I thought about it. But I feel like this could in some ways be a plausible reasoning. What do you think?
