Started in Community College Now Work and Study in an Ivy League AMA
I grew up in Latinamerica and barely graduated from high school there. I suffered from depression and insomnia, which it didn't help with my studies.
When I was 17, my parents decided to leave my country and move to the US. Thankfully my mom was American and it was very easy to do for us.
Once I arrived, I began taking ESL classes in the community college and once I finished I took their placement exam for regular college classes. Passed English with flashing colors and got remedial Algebra. After that, I transferred to a state university, where I graduated from Mass Communications and Advertising with a 3.4 GPA. Then, I began working on commercial real estate and later did a Master's in Real Estate and graduated with a 3.85 GPA. Finally, a few years later I got the opportunity to work on the Ivy League department of Real Estate and after a year I got the benefit of free tuition, as long as I got accepted into one of their schools. I got accepted in their school of Public Policy and I am bound to graduating next May with second masters.
