New CM concept I’ve started today.

The Team:

AD Ceuta is in the second division of Spain but call Ceuta home. Ceuta is an autonomous city of Spain but lies on the North African coast near the Strait of Gibraltar, and is fully bordered on land by Morocco. This makes them the only club in the game that is geographically based in Africa but also participates in European football competitions.

The Manager:

Walid Regragui is a French born Moroccan former player and most recently the manager of the Moroccan national team. As player he was a right sided fullback and played in France, Spain and Morocco. He very recently stepped down as the national team manager for Morocco stating that it was time for a new voice for the team. This came despite Regragui leading Morocco to not only their best finish in a World Cup in 2022, but also the first time for any African or Arab nation to reach the Semifinals in a World Cup. He also became the first African/Arab international manager to reach this stage.

The Goal:

Build AD Ceuta from the ground up into first division regular and eventually challenge for domestic cups and broader European competitions.

Starting live from March 23rd 2026, finish in the top 10 without being promoted to gain second division stability. More than 2/3s of the current roster is on an expiring contract, extend the vital pieces and supplement next seasons roster by sticking to the clubs recent methodology of free signings and loan signings.

Then begin pushing for promotion in 2026-27 while also developing youth talents from Spain, Morocco and France and then eventually moving into other Spanish, French and Arab speaking nations later on.
