When is the best time to tell someone you don't want kids? Also how do you deal with traditional families?

DISCUSSION

I (22F) am thinking about the best time to tell someone I don't want kids. I'm not in a relationship or anything, but i was thinking when would be the best time to tell someone I don't want kids? is this a normal conversation to have? I know it's something that is really important to mention and I feel like as early as possible.

- recently many of my aunt's won't stop talking about my cousins and I getting married and having kids, and I told one of my aunts I possibly don't want any of that (I kind of hate men), and she told me "no it's your duty" "it's your life", but now I'm confused. Rn I love my life without a man dragging me down it feels amazing, why would I ever want to give up you know? and having kids with a man that drags me down absolutely no way😾😾😾 and my life without kids rn feels amazing as well.

- Also for some context I come from a traditional Indian background, and some of my older cousins are getting married so that's why my aunts keep talking about us getting married and stuff. Is there anyone coming from a traditional household that doesn't have kids or isn't married??? like my aunts and my mom keep telling us to find husbands that take care of us and stuff. But like I want nothing to do with kids and a husband, like all my aunts and my mom are in shit marriages, and their husbands are basically incompetent useless children themselves. Like after seeing all this why would I ever want to get married???? How do you get them to get off your back about marriage and children?
