Question on Balance

Hey all, just getting back into Root after a long while- having everything now including Homeland stuff. Are there any house rules people use to balance the factions? Ex. Corvid, Lizards, Vagabond. I see that there are some advanced setups. Should I use these? They don't seem that much different. Just wondering if there is anything out there to bring up some factions and maybe nerf the Vagabond a bit. Thanks in advance.
