Note with both Portrait & Landscape (template) pages?

I was at a workshop where we were given linear information, point by point, then the presenter gave a side by side comparison in a table which I wanted to copy as a summary

Am I right in thinking that once a template orientation is selected for the new note, then all pages can only be that orientation?
