Looking for reccomendations on my first camera
- Budget: Ideally under $75 for everything, but I'm not sure how realistic that is?
- Country: USA
- Condition: New or used, most reluctant on a used camera due to difficulty actually finding the specific one I'd be looking for
- Type of Camera: Flexible! Interchangeable lenses would be nice as I like to photograph both bugs and birds, and I could see a fixed lense making that hard. I would like to avoid anything too complicated for my first camera
- Intended use: Photography
- If photography; what style: Wildlife
- If video what style: Not particularly hung up on video, but would be a nice bonus if it doesn't impact budget too much
- What features do you absolutely need: Nothing too fancy - weatherproof enough to go outside with me, and suitable for both close-range and long-range photography
- What features would be nice to have: Nothing really comes to mind, but I'm also not super familiar with cameras so I might just not know what features would be nice?
- Portability: Ideally, very - shoulder strap at the most. Looking for something small and lightweight
- Cameras you're considering: Nothing specific - I don't really know where to start with this!
- Cameras you already have: None
- Notes: I am entirely aware that my budget is low and I probably can't afford a top-tier camera - I'm a broke college student who just wants to have something a little nicer than a cellphone for my photography habit. "Good enough until I can afford something nicer" is the goal here
