Death penalty shouldn't be abolished

so from reading all over reddit I'm coming to the conclusion that most people think the death penalty should be abolished, but I disagree, I think the death penalty should be there for crimes like terrorism, serial killers, and the majority of murder crimes, manslaughter is iffy depending on what they did to get that manslaughter charge.

to me it's just mind boggling to think that so many people are against the death penalty, but I do understand their counter points, like what if they were falsely imprisoned, which fair, I don't have an answer for that, but I still stand by my opinion in the death penalty should not be abolished
