First-timer questions

Hello,

I have never been to Sonic Temple but I am interested in going this year. I wanted some clarification on a few things before I decide to buy tickets. I am coming from 9 hours away so I'd like to know what to expect and be prepared for as an out of towner.
Could you guys please help?

• I see that of the field tickets are sold out. Can I still see all of the bands if I get the stadium tickets or am I confined to the stadium the entirety of the festival? I mostly want to see Pierce the Veil, Breaking Benjamin, Marilyn Manson, and Bring Me the Horizon so would the stadium tickets be sufficient for just seeing these bands?
• Is it worth buying the parking passes? I've been reading on this subreddit that there's free parking in the neighborhood behind the stadium, so just wondering if that's something I can depend on or should I buy the $50 passes at the venue just in case?
• For hotels outside of the festival area, what are some recommendations for areas with safe and affordable hotel rooms? Hilliard?
