Anyone here have good experience with an Access Virus B?

I don’t have any experience with any of the Viruses, so here’s my question:

There’s a song called Wreath Of Barbs by Wumpscut and the vocals are vocoded, but somehow with a Virus B.

How would he have achieved this if the Virus B doesn’t have a vocoder on it?
