How do you deal with criticism or lack of engagement?

I guess I’m a portrait photographer. Done a lot at this point but still fairly fresh.

It still hurts me when people don’t engage with a photo I post. I feel bad for the individual and I feel like I’ve been vulnerable and created something only for people to turn a blind eye.

I start doubting things I was before proud of I guess.

Was just wondering how you deal with this yourself?

Specifically I’m talking about an image I posted this evening on my account @facesofnorwich (I don’t want to post it here incase the person see’s it)

I tried some new things and I guess I’m just feeling self conscious.

Any suggestions, advice, feedback would be super helpful
