Hey everyone! I'm u/writeanddirect, a founding moderator of r/WriteDirectFilmSchool.

This sub is dedicated to directors just starting out. Those of use operating with micro budgets and wearing "all the hats" in order to get projects off the ground. We're not just the writer and director. We're often DP, gaffer, production sound mixer...all the way into post production details.

It's a lot of work yet wildly rewarding! And it keeps up moving forward while others lost valuable time chase money and favors.

What to Share
Anything relating to making movies. Please don't use this as an advertisement zone, while on the same note, if you have something valuable for filmmakers feel free to share it. Just be a real human and not a spam bot.

Who Will Be Blocked
