Bio/Global Health at Duke, JHU Public Health, or Rice Health Sciences.

JHU would be ~1 hour from home, can keep doing the clinical work I’m already doing, mixed feelings on hopkins premed, scared about Baltimore and grade deflation/subpar student life, but heard the deflation isn’t as bad for public health and ofc great opportunities/prestige for med school

Duke: grade inflation and tons of opportunities in hospital/research triangle, but concerned about southern WASPy culture (from DMV) and so much greek life/cliqueyness, especially as a girl. Love the good food and happy campus

Rice: great collaborative culture, great premed opportunities, love residential colleges, TMC near campus, concerned about large proportion of texans/nerdier culture/less prestige than the other two

Gonna go visit all three, but need advice!!
