Why are shadow rules in this sub still a thing?

[Discussion]

Just today the mod u/rbxk made a post about a vinyl repress of Hit Vibes by SAINT PEPSI where it was originally a crosspost from r/vaporphysicals but for whatever reason they deleted the original post and then reposted it as a link submission, after which they deleted the comment left by the original poster on the repost under the grounds of it being “Off topic, Low effort, Spam” even though they were wondering why their crosspost was removed (I can’t remember what exactly was said but that is the gist of it).

Where exactly is this mentioned as a rule of not being allowed to crosspost from that sub? Also this isn’t the first time, some of you may already know that there is another shadow rule of not being allowed to discuss anything related to Virtual Algorithm not even a simple question (I took a screenshot of a section of their pre-order status page and asked a question see here)

One of their reasons behind this is that making a post about something related to copyright infringement means that gets the subreddit in trouble, see this backwards logic here, lastly u/_ztl said they would make discussion about VA a rule but that hasn’t happened yet.
