The exhaustion that comes with dealing with mediocre men

As the title implies, the mediocre man train has really worn me down this week. It was a high emotion week at work anyway, but it has been compounded by the many, many, many men who cannot be bothered to do their job satisfactorily. Then when issues arise, they always respond with deflection, blame shifting, or the excuse that “no one told me,” when most certainly they did. The overall attitude of “my team prevented us from making quota but that is somehow your problem to deal with” is infuriating.
