Not all bad people have a mental illness.

I see a lot of posts online that say things like “[politician] is such a psychopath” or “my [bad parent/teacher/whoever] is such a narcissist.” People can be abusive or otherwise do harmful things without having those conditions, and not all people with those conditions are evil. I’m not saying those conditions can never cause people to do harm, but not nearly all cases of harm done are because of that, and calling out the condition rather than the bad action just treats the people as not responsible for their actions and perpetuates a stigma for the mental conditions.
