Drop Beacon ([edc4me.com](https://edc4me.com)) tracks over 1,000 EDC brands and 80K+ products — price drops, restocks, new releases, all of it. I've got 18 automated cron jobs running around the clock handling scraping, deduplication, blog generation, notifications, sentiment analysis. The thing basically runs itself. I shipped something like 75 commits last week alone because Claude Code turns "I want this feature" into a working PR incredibly quickly.

The AI-assisted solo founder thing is real and it's incredible. I've been in technology and product management for a decade... things Claude Code enables me to do in a week would have taken a team of engineers and I a year to do. It literally made [Drop Beacon](https://edc4me.com) possible. But the narrative that AI lets you do everything yourself kind of glosses over the fact that the "everything" people struggle with was never really the code.

It was always the marketing, which is largely Social Freaking Media. Going from a cold start attempting to showcase a website/app is incredibly painful.

So yeah. The platform runs. The automations hum. The code ships fast. And I'm over here trying to figure out how to get EDC enthusiasts to discover a tool that was literally built to help them discover things. The irony isn't lost on me.

Claude Code is a game changer, but building a business is still hard work. I think 5 affiliate partners in 5 weeks is a win, but marketing without a social media presence and before pSEO kicks in is incredibly challenging.
