Should I continue in Early Childhood Education or go back to uni to become a Primary school teacher?

Career Advice

So, I need some advice. I have recently finished my Cert 3 in Early Education and Care and am currently working in a childcare setting. My role in this job involves moving to different rooms depending on what's needed for the day. It's given me the opportunity to learn about different age groups and build relationships amongst the rooms but it's also made me realise I may prefer to teach to children more structured learning then play based and observed learning. I'm not sure what to do. I still love to play and interact with this age group (0-5) but I know I can do so much more and teaching is what I originally imagined and prefer myself doing. I would love to have my own room where I can put my passion into creating engaging lessons and guiding children with their learning Would it be best to stay at the childcare centre I'm at, which compared to my last place is much better in supporting staff and children or take a chance to leave this job to study and see what happens after. Especially as early education, from what I have observed, is very in demand in Australia and would be a safer choice.
