Stay or go...
I've been super bored in my job like I feel like some days I have maybe an hour of work and then I sit and fuck around. I started interviewing for new roles and so far I've only got one left that I am really unsure of, sadly the other declined after final rounds. They have some poor reviews online and opinions of folks I've spoken with a pretty meh no one has excited me about the role but coupld red flags.
The job will have a lot more going on but I am leaving heavily towards not taking it, one things I've considered is if it pays more or something might be a idea to go but I work for a large company (lots layoffs) this would be a midsize company that has not so great reviews.
One guys response to my asking about that was he doesn't use websites to review companies like that he thinks to omany people just complain. (Sounds like not totally copping up to the reviews (one literally said "Run!" Then he mentioned some people might not feel like the new CEO holds a ton of town halls so people are just used to old CEO who hosted weekly updates.
Asked another employee and the response was similar people who have been there for long time preferred the previous cheerleader CEO who shared a lot but no real substance. Kinda thinking I should just stay where I am at least the culture is good and can always keep looking for better opportunities.....Just again bored here which I think is kinda not good for me I prefer busier jobs but don't want to end up at a possibly toxic company if they are all just kinda meh.
