Trip to Porto and surroundings

Hi everyone, in August my gf and will land in Porto in the evening, rent a car for 9 days and come back departing again from Porto very early in the morning.

We are looking for suggestions on the itinerary, places to visit, stay and eat. From locals or people who have done similar experiences in the past.

If you plan to be there in August too let us know!

A few things to consider:

- we find convenient spending not less than 2 nights in the same place with a few exceptions (e.g. when sleeping close to the airport)

- we have already been to Lisbona

- we like to drive but I’d say max 2-3 hours every 2 days

-we like nature, food, a touch of culture and enjoy the beach if sandy

- when it’s about culture we like guided tours (we trust mainly the ones sold on booking or Airbnb)

- we originally thought about stay within Portugal but Galicia is an option too
