is persona 3 a good jump after triangle strategy?

firstly, thanks a bunch to u/SlithyOutgrabe and u/Sacreville for recommending Triangle Strategy. i don’t think i could’ve gotten any better recommendations for what i had asked. i’m done with one playthrough, and will likely jump back in after a while for my next.

that being said, persona 3 has been on my radar for a while now, and the physical for switch 2 is finally on sale. i’ve already played the demo, and i love the narrative so far. my only concern is the combat.

with triangle strategy i was able to engage with the combat with significant interest throughout the game. i’m not entirely sure about that for persona 3.

i guess my only question is if the combat gets any different as the game progresses?

i already love everything else about the game so far.
