Can you progress past centipede demon without the lava ring?

Hello! I’m running a randomizer and I’ve made it to the centipede demon (replaced by Manus…) and I’m wondering if after the fight am I even able to progress without the lava ring? I can’t do the short cut since the fair lady is dead, she bugged out and died when I left the room her bonfire is in T-T
