Why are people so in love with AMFA?

I just want to get people’s opinions. I have buddies at different airlines and then of course including my own some people really want AMFA to take over. And I just want to know what people’s reasons are especially considering AMFAs track record of losing peoples jobs and letting the company kill off stations by farming out heavy maintenance. I mean they gave away heavy mx just to get southwests extension and thy don’t even have the best pay.
