Running star citizen

I’ve been watching star citizen videos for years now, just never had a pc good enough to run star citizen. My PC is much much better now, lots of ram and ryzen CPU, just the GPU that is lacking. The reason for this post is I want to know in the real world, what does it take to actually run the game? When I google it I just get ram size guides and it obviously says how poorly optimised star citizen is. Any advice is welcome
