slo roller questions

doing a brisket over the weekend. have the slo roller that i've never used that i'm planning on doing- my question is, does anyone have experience using the slo roller WITH the kick ash basket? i don't feel like deconstructing and reinstalling the stock ash system for one day, but have no experience using either.. any insight is greatly appreciated! thanks in advance!
