Do Chase recon agents see real-time Experian updates or cached reports? (Inquiry removal timing DP)
Trying to understand how Chase pulls/uses credit reports during reconsideration calls.
Situation:
- Had 3 recent unauthorized Experian inquiries removed 6 hours ago
- Called Chase recon right now
- Still got denied citing:
- “too many recent requests / reviews of credit”
- “not enough credit information”
Now I’m wondering:
Does Chase actually pull a real-time Experian report during recon calls,
or do they rely on:
- previously pulled reports
- cached/internal snapshots
- or soft pulls from earlier in the process?
Because if they saw the updated report, the inquiry count should’ve been much lower.
More context (if helpful):
- This was a reinstatement attempt after a prior shutdown
- No new credit cards opened recently
- Only change was inquiry removal on Experian before the call
