I found these two lead pieces recently and please let me know what you think,

Here is some context and also some of my ideas for anyone who wants to read,

These were both found in a farm that goes along the ancient Icknield way a very famous neolithic and later Roman road. The farm is speculated to have had a roman watchtower either on it or nearby to it and has a stream running directly to the side of it. I have managed to pull out many Roman artifacts from this farm such as apron fittings and brooches, showing there was some activity around here. My theory on the first piece is a Roman lead curse, while most curses are rolled as opposed to folded, my thumb fits perfectly with where the piece is folded and there is a clear bump on the other side leading me to believe it has been intentionally folded, the lead is also very hard and heavily oxidised showing age. I found it by the bank of the stream right at the edge of the farm which is where I believe they were typically left there are also rust marks indicating there was one iron present and another common practice of lead curses was to drive a nail through them, there is always a chance that other pieces could've been broken off by the plough.

As for the second piece, I really have no clue. It could just be lead melt however I still find the hollow inside strange.

Please let me know what you think as I would like to get as many opinions as possible and learn more about future finds I may make on this field.
