I tried watching TT but I just can’t do it.

I know that when shows are made from books there’s a certain creative license that takes place. To change key details though, that never made sense to me. I read both books several times and watched HT up until June refused to go with the baby when the car pulled up to get her.

Today I tried watching TT. I already knew who was who but once they described who the pearl girls were and what they did I had to stop watching. Why was that a detail that had to be changed so drastically? The real purpose wouldn’t have hurt the storyline.

It’s my fault for reading the book before watching but why change small details for such a big show. I think the book as is (with some small adjustments to fit HT) would have made for a great first season. Oh and then the fact they practically turned Zilla into an avox (Hunger Games reference). Oh well at least I can say I tried.
